Where has the time gone? One minute, I complained about January dragging its feet, and now I’m complaining about February packing its bags and leaving. You really can’t satisfy anyone, can you?
Anyway, I’ve decided to stop stressing about time and start spending it right—outside. Group Therapy is calling my actual name, and I intend to answer. Last weekend, I officially kicked off my 2025 rave era with Monochroma, which was stellar. South Social gave us a Valentine’s Bash to remember (or forget, depending on how hard you partied), and this weekend, they’re dialling it back with old Naija jams, because nostalgia is the best kind of party fuel.
So, what’s the plan? Because staying in is not an option. Here’s what’s happening:
1. Ram & Beer Presents: TAMBA with IFEME C.S Good music, cold beer, and that Friday night energy you need. If you’re not here, where will you be? Lekki Phase 1, 10 PM.
2. A Night With Amakah – Free An intimate night of smooth sounds and soulful melodies. If you’re craving good music in good company, this is your stop. Lekki, 6 PM.
3. The Gathering 2.0 – Free A day of ideas, connections, and conversations that actually matter. Come ready to be inspired. VI, 10 AM.
4. Group Therapy Think of this as self-care but with bass drops and cocktails. Dance, vibe, and leave your worries at the door. Lekki, 10 pm.
5. Friday Variety @ The Hook Every Friday is different, but the good times stay consistent. Pull up and see what this one’s all about. VI, 5 PM.
6. South Socials Good drinks, great people, and the vibes that keep you out way later than planned. Their Valentine’s party? See, I’m just grateful I wore flat shoes. It’s at VI, 7 PM.
7. Mad Waves The energy will be high, the music will be loud, and the waves will be mad. If you’re outside, be outside properly. Elegushi, 9 PM.
8. Move & Thrive – ₦2,000 A little movement, a little motivation, and a whole lot of good energy. Because sweating should actually feel this fun. Isolo, 10 AM.
9. Games & Karaoke Night – ₦1,000 Bring your A-game, whether it’s for the mic or the game board. Either way, there will be bragging rights on the line. Ajah, 6 PM.
10. Kunbiworks 10th Anniversary & Bead And Sip Beads, cocktails, and the kind of creativity that only flows with a little wine. Come for the crafts, stay for the vibes. Ikeja, 11 AM.
11. Love, Lyrics, Laughter – ₦15,000 A night of music, spoken word, and laughter that makes you forget about Monday. If you love a good show, you’ll love this. Lekki, 5 PM.
