How Much Is Pure Water In Your Area?🥲

Hi there,

I stay on the mainland, so I buy a bag of water for ₦500. Remember when it used to be ₦100 or less? Those good old days when ₦1,000 could get you a decent meal and change to spare.

Now it’s constant calculations for even the basics. Chicken or turkey? Public transport or Uber? That new outfit you keep telling the vendor  “maybe next month”? Even hanging out with friends or a quick weekend trip now feels like a luxury instead of a simple joy.

Adulting is hard,  maybe harder now, but you still have to live. Save all you want, inflation isn’t going anywhere. Work all week, but you still need to breathe. Because all work and no play makes… well, you know the rest.

Here are a few events worth stepping out for this weekend. Pick one, and let yourself live a little.

Friday

1. TELLTALES

Bamboo Lounge, Yaba | 9:00 PM | ₦8,000

Stories, laughter, and the kind of confessions that only come out after the second drink. TELLTALES turns a Friday night into a memory you and your friends will still be quoting in the GC next month.

2. BACKYARD: GLOW IN THE DARK

Mantra Lagos, VI | 10:00 PM | ₦8,200
